Adafruit LDP8806 Lightshow
To give you an image of what our newly purchased LED strip is capable of, we found this video by cjbaar1. He created a new version of an Adafruit test sequence which is pretty darn cool and looks quite promising: (credits for cjbaar1 and his code – looks really good!!!)
No light yet so we added some useful links.
Well, the new LEDs have arrived but sadly there has not been any light yet. After we connected them properly they just would´t fire up while using a standard arduino testing script. We finally managed to get our LED. We decided to go for the LDP8806 original and not for a chinese knock-off which luckely we were able to order here in Germany through a reseller.
